This series is designed by art teachers/working artists. All workshops will be led by either a locally and nationally known artist/educator. Meet with teaching artists and your colleagues to share ideas to use in your classroom. Each workshop will incorporate lectures, discussions, and have hands-on activities.

Maggie Peeno, K-5 art teacher at Meramec School in Clayton, will be doing a demonstration of the Architectural Box City, originated by Ginny Graves at the Center for Understanding the Built Environment, C.U.B.E. in Shawnee Mission. Learn how to teach designing and building techniques using everyday consumables in the art and classroom curriculum. For the K-8 students.
Gregory Kramer, Architect and Clayton High School teacher, will demonstrate, for grades 9 and up, CAD model programming. He will bring samples of his 3D models constructed from recycled paper.
