****CALL TO ARTISTS****
The Soulard Art Market and Contemporary Gallery is calling for submissions to
"I See Music", a juried exhibition of local artists from April 10th-May 11th, 2008.
Work will be displayed in the main gallery along with our studio artists.
Each artist can submit up to 2 original works. We accept most media (Sorry, NO video or ceiling-suspended artwork.)
Submission Guidelines:
- No more than 2 Pieces of work to be juried.
- Sculpture should be no larger than: Height: 10 sq ft (Height: 6ft, Width: 2ft.) -sculpture must have a stand or be displayable on a 10" deep windowsill.
- Framed 2D artwork must be ready for hanging (no saw tooth hangers).
- All artwork for consideration MUST be submitted via JPEG/JPG image.
- Accompanying e-mail must include title/ media/measurements, contact e-mail
address, and phone number.
- File size for each work cannot exceed 500kb and must be attached in jpg (jpeg) format.
- Website address submissions will NOT be accepted.
- File Name should be named as such: Artists Name_Name of Piece_Dimensions.jpg (John
Smith_Artwork1_16x20.jpg)

All submissions are to be received no later than April 2nd for consideration.
Submission is FREE!
Accepted artists must submit an operational costs fee of $30. We will accept cash only, payable upon delivery of artwork.
There will be no commission; artists will retain 100% of sales.
We look forward to seeing your art in the upcoming exhibition.
We are anxious to view how you "See Music". Please note: your work must have a music related theme to be considered.
