This exhibit is a collaboration of a wide range of artists who "speak up" through their varied media (painting, dance, acting, sculpture, photography, drawing, and music), addressing contemporary issues that concern many people. War, abuse of women, racism, homelessness, poverty, children's rights, Darfur, the environment, immigration, identity, gun control: no topic is left untouched.

Speak Up, St. Louis! is a spin-off of the Raise Your Voice! American Democracy Project, presented throughout the nation in the fall of 2006. (For more information: http://www.cmsu.edu/acg/raiseyourvoice/). Michael Crane is the curator for this riveting exhibit, which is sure to fuel some interesting discussions.
