Gerald Zafft will speak about legal guardianship and conservatorship as it applies to people with disabilities. Mr. Zafft has served, and is currently serving, on a number of civic and charitable boards, including the National Benevolent Association, Woodhaven Learning Center, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Project, Inc. and Rainbow Village.

Mr. Zafft's commitment to assisting people with disabilities led him to become the prime author in creating Missouri Family Trust, now known as the Midwest Special Needs Trust. This is a nationally recognized innovative approach which permits a family to provide for their loved one's benefit without jeopardizing his or her eligibility for government entitlement funding.
