Have you ever wanted to have Ulysses read to you? So you could talk about it at cocktail parties as if you'd actually read it yourself? Now's your chance.

We're hosting Bloomsday this Saturday (June 16) from open to close (11am to 10pm). That means we'll have a slew of folks reading it all day long. It can take up to 36 hours to accomplish so we're only taking part in a sliver of it, but after we close the folks involved will be moving it on to a late-night environ, probably involving Guinness.

I can't take the credit for setting it up, but those in the know have told me that there are celebrity readers involved as well as sign-up sheets for the common person. And I guess if you read just part of it, that counts as, you know, "reading" it.
