CAPCR: Sunday Panel on Police Abuse

The ACLU Racial Justice Manager, Redditt Hudson, has put together a panel discussion for this Sunday. The panel will be dealing with issues of police abuse and is entitled, “Broken Trust: Real Talk with Police in our Community; How to Stop the Hurt”. This discussion is part of the Black Expo and will be at the America’s Center, Room F, 801 Convention Plaza. It will be from 2-3:30. and will include a member of the Coalition Against Police Crimes and Repression (John Chasnoff) as well as several members of the law enforcement community who are aware of the realities involved. The panelist include a former federal prosecutor and two former police officers who are now defense attorneys. Discussion will focus on solutions to long standing problems. All are invited to attend.
